Tyler's Taproom

A weekday evening out can rarely be afforded. However, the young, hard-working individuals of most bio-medical and engineering firms in the area could really benefit from a little unwinding at a local eatery.

Tyler's Taproom of Apex, Carrboro, and Durham is the perfect place for such a weekday outing. There is no need to drive into downtown Raleigh, they have an extensive menu and beer selection, and the waitstaff is very knowledgeable.

My selection for the evening was the Foothills Brewery - Seeing Double IPA. This full-bodied double IPA combines a flowery hop aroma with a very impressive drinkability for such a high gravity ale. The citrus and floral tones subdue the hops to make this one accessible to even the malt fans. Go find yourself one of these... seriously.
