Roth Brewing Company - Cinnamon Porter

So Mihir left for Kenya, and Andrew turned 25.  This is how we celebrate.

McGregor Ale House in Cary, NC gave us a sample of this brew.  It had a pretty darn good aroma,  a semi-sweet bite of cinnamon, and the mouthfeel of a glass of luke-warm water.  Not too terrible and interesting enough for a sample, but I wouldn't go out of my way for one.

from the Roth Brewing website:

Forgotten Hollow - Cinnamon Porter
The one and only. Forgotten Hollow is the first beer crafted by the brothers Roth and remains the show stopper of the series. As a new brew, dark chocolate mixes with a heavy caramel flavor to hide within a spicy malty cinnamon sweetness. Aged between 5 & 8 months, this beer reveals its dark chocolate cherry cordial notes with resolve. Truly, a beer to warm any night.
