Name: Savennières
Type: CheninBlanc
Alcohol Content: 13%
Vintage: 2004
Producer/Importer: Baumard, France/ Ex
Cellars Wine Agencies, CA

This is a strong wine with a big finish. There are hints of lime and chalk in the aroma. It is well balanced with a slight acidity. I really enjoyed this wine as it is one of the more complex of this group.

Name: Columbia Valley Semillon
Type: 86% Semillon, 14% Sauvignon Blanc
Alcohol Content: 14.3%
Vintage: 2006
Producer/Importer: L’ Ecole No 41, WA

The taste of this Semillon is very round and earthy with a hint of oak. It has a mellow, red apple aroma. There is also a strong alcohol and bitter flavors present throughout.

Name: Virginia Viognier
Type: Viognier
Alcohol Content: 13.8%
Vintage: 2005
Producer/Importer: Blenheim Vineyards,VA
Cost: ~$26

This vineyard that these grapes were grown in is owned by the one and only Dave Matthews. This wine is extremely aromatic, and smells of honey and flowers. It has a heavy mouthfeel with big and complex floral and honey flavors.

Name: Mâcon-Chardonnay
Type: Chardonnay
Alcohol Content: 13.5%
Vintage: 2006
Producer/Importer: DomaineTalmard,
France/ Ex Cellars Wine Agencies, CA

This wine is sharp and acidic with bitter tones in the finish. It smells of creamy butter and a bit of citrus.

Name: Rully 1er Cru
Type: Chardonnay
Alcohol Content: 13.5%
Vintage: 2005
Producer/Importer: Vincent Girardin,
Burgundy France/ Vineyard Brands, AL
Cost: ~$40.00

This wine has a great balance and a long finish with mild acidity. It has a very smooth and dense mouthfeel that really brings out the oaky and mineral flavor. This is a new favorite.

Name: Riff
Type: Pinot Grigio
Alcohol Content: 12 %
Vintage:2005
Producer/Importer: Alios Lageder, Italy/
Alios Lageder, CA
Cost: ~$12.69

This would be a great wine to sip while sitting on your back porch in the summer. The mild, sweet smell and light, crisp body would make this one great with just about any kind of food.

Name: Mt. Harlan Chardonnay
Type: Chardonnay
Alcohol Content: 14.5%
Vintage: 2004
Producer/Importer: Calera Wine
Company, CA
Cost: ~$35.00

This wine is on the stronger side with hints of oak and butter. The aroma is also of oak and smooth butter. This wine was higher in acidity and did not have the balance that would have made it excellent.

Name: Brampton
Type: Chardonnay (Unoaked)
Alcohol Content: 13.5%
Vintage: 2006
Producer/Importer: Rustenberg Wines,
South Africa/ Cape Classics, NY
Cost: ~$11

This is a fairly sweet wine but the citrus fruits interlaced within the flavors would make you think it is reasonably tart.
